Add color to the kitchen by installing affordable Formica laminate countertops.One goal often on to-do lists is to make our living spaces more welcoming and more reflective of our personalities.  Real Simple recently shared five ways to create a cozy home; here’s how to make these ideas work in the kitchen using our own images as illustrations. 

Play with Color.  Color brings cheer to the kitchen. If you wish to remain on neutral ground, infuse color though accessories or accent furniture. Or, go bold by painting walls or cabinetry a bright shade or by installing a countertop in a non-traditional hue (especially if choosing an affordable material such as laminate!).

Formica Corporation spotted a lot of great exhibits at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show, but one that left us feeling a bit nostalgic was Merillat’s 1946 vintage kitchen.
