Graduated color schemes have dominated commercial design shows in the past year … in fact, Formica Corporation noticed quite a bit of gradation at HD Expo and NeoCon, mainly in the textile and wallcovering categories.
We posted earlier on large-scale patterns, and many featured graduated color to soften the effect.
We also noted, as blue and green battle to become the dominant color, that some patterns blended the two using a graduated color scheme.
Hot trends in the commercial design scene often trickle down to the home … luckily, color gradation is a trend that can be easily incorporated into your favorite living spaces.
