For many parents, back-to-school means lots of stray papers infiltrating the house and the oft-dreaded task of completing homework. Homework stations are the trend du jour, though luckily for you, they don’t require major remodeling or excess space. A preformed Formica® Brand Laminate countertop (available at most national home improvement retailers) cut to fit with stock cabinetry as a base can be a smart solution – just add a few hardworking accessories and a motivated kid.
